Wegman’s Site Plans Officially Filed

Steiner NYC officially filed plans for the Wegman’s site with the Department of Buildings.

According to the plans, the building housing Wegmans will be located at 21 Flushing Avenue and will occupy 250,000 square feet. Wegmans will occupy the mezzanine and first floors of the building, with “light manufacturing space” occupying the upper four floors. The building is expected to be completed in 2017.

As part of the filing, Steiner also detailed for 3 additional buildings that will occupy the following addresses: 1 Flushing Avenue, 3 Flushing Avenue and 25 Navy Street. These buildings will collectively consist of more than 87,000 square feet of additional retail. Based upon the plans submitted, 3 Flushing Avenue will have five retail stores, 1 Flushing Avenue will have one store, and 25 Navy Street will be the largest of the three with over 40,000 square feet and four additional stores. The site will also house a 100,000 square foot parking lot.
